When does Kenya have the best weather for travel? |

Pro's/Con's Travel Tips june and july is a great time to go it's like their winter so its not too hot and it's in between the rainy seasons Others I would think spring or fall, and not during the heavy heat of summer. If you want to go when its quite rainy and muddy then go during march or April If you want to go when its smokin hot, go around December. Take this advice from the Kenayn himself! First, Kenya is an equitorial country which means there isn't a summer or a winter but there are two rainy seasons. I have been in July/August and the weather was damp on some days in Nairobi and outside of the city the weather was hot at mid day and very cool (dipped to 40F) at night. I believe that Mombasa's weather stays about the same year round. Nairobi has a higher altitude so the weather is a little cooler than it is on the plains. Mombasa's weather should be on the warmer side and tropical due to its location on the shore. The best time to travel in kenya is from mid june to early January everly year, but for budget travel there is Mid march to Mid june and the month of october to mid november |
