Price in kenya? |
Travel Info hi guys, i'm going to kenya in a few weeks and am wondering if anyone knows the prices of food there. someone told me it was more expensive than britain, but i find that hard to believe seeing it's not as rich. in the market and in the supermarkets? thanks!! Travel Tips no the food is really cheap. The fruit is absolutely amazing, probably one of my favorite things in Kenya. On the street you can get fruit for bareely anything. For example: 10 KSh per mango, 5 KSh per bannana, maybe 40 KSh for a whole pineapple, 5 KSh per orange, passion fruit is delicious too. enjoy your street shopping. exchange rate 1 US$ = 70 KSh Others In Macdonalds the buffalo buns are 45p. anan g眉zel mi i was out there for 2 months, came back last month, and going again next month! i love it there! everything is really cheap! for example, a bottle of coke is about 30p! although if ur white u will get charged more. my hubby is kenyan, so if we want anythin he'd go buy it coz he'd get "kenyan rates"! tho jus watch out for the men there (im assuming ur female for some reason!) they want ur money and ur body and they dnt take no for an answer! but all in all, u will love it! and if ur in the capital, go to steers, its like Mcdonals, but the burgers are NICE and the whoke place is CHEAP. nice and decent meal for 2 for about 拢4 been there Its not true that food in Kenya is more expensive than in Britain.Infact, it could be almost half the prices in Britain. However, the prices vary from one restaurant to another depending on the class.Ofcourse you will pay more in a high class restaurant/hotel, but in comparison, food in Kenya is generally cheaper than in Europe. Im a Kenyan. |
