I am wondering about planning a safari in Kenya.? |
Travel Info I have done some checking on line and what I have found is VERY expensive. Any suggestions on how to keep the costs resonable? Travel Tips This is how to go about this. You have to give your budget and a wish list of the places you would like to visit and ofcourse the number of days you are planning to be in the country. e.g Flying safaris can be substituted by road safariswhere the latter is cheaper, or you can agree to be combined with another group so that you share the van rather than be on your own and bear the full cost of the van. Alternatively, you can ask to be given a smaller 4X4 vehicle to use alone and a driver. Just a suggestion. This way your tour operator can be able to cost and plan your safari in a way that meets yor expectations first given your budgetary constraint. This way your host knows exactly what expensive and VERY expensive is. Do you mind sending your request to info@maxifunsafaris.com with the above details and see what can be done to assist you? All the best in your search and KARIBU (welcome) to Kenya. Source(s): www.maxifunsafaris.com Other Travel Tips I found it much cheaper to organise everything after I arrived in Nairobi rather than online. I used to live there -- Star Travel if it is still around had competitive rates and great guides. the online service is expensive as is for business purposes, if you could have a friend would be easy to go there with your cash in hands more over try to talk with counselor in your near embassy Traveling in kenya can be expensive. Tell them that you would like to join a group and it`s possible that you are going to get a good offer. These guys could do a trick!. www.gotomountkenya.com |
