Travel Info Advice on beauty sceneries to visit am going thea for an exchange program for 4 months. Thanks Travel Tips WOW! I envy you. i love everything about kenya for personal reasons, i wish i was going there in your place. Im sure you know you have to be very careful there, as its very dangerous, iv been on safari to masai mara, exellent experience. Enjoy yourself! Others hi. you'll have an amazng time! my husband is kenyan and we go there frequently.lake nakuru is an amazing safari destination.easily accessed from nairobi. mombasa is beautiful if you would like sometime at the beach. the great rift valley can be seen at a lovely viewpoint on the road from nairobi to nakuru. there is so much to see. let me know if u want to know more. You can Visit Lugards Falls in Tsavo National Park,or watch the great Rift Valley from the Kikuyu escarpment, Visit Thompsons Falls and also snow capped Mount Kenya. I believe you will not fail to visit Kenya's Game parks and Game reserves for spectacular view of Kenya's diverse wildlife heritage.Wish you an enjoyable stay. plenty of parks,safaris,and the night life is also great.take in the unique things like the mini-buses called matatus and enjoy the traditional delicacies... I don't know what poccessed you to decide on Kenya but I think you'll regret it. While the scenery is beautiful, the law and order, the security, the pollution, the over-crowding and the people are UGLY! Not to mention the complete lack of infra-structure and utilities (electricity, water, sewer, phone, postal, public transit). Obviously those with limited exposure to Kenya and with vested interest would think it was a wonderful place. going to Kenya? excellent....i envy you. I was there last year and i had the time of my life. It's one of the things i keep telling all my friends to add onto their "top 100 things to do before you die" list. seriously! I gaurantee you that you'll love it. So here is a list of things that i got to do and suggest you try out as well 1. Mountain climbing...Mt Kenya...tough trip but worth every penny 2. A trip to the Masai Mara...if you happen to be around during the time of the great crossing even better.....FYI, the great crossing is listed as one of the eight wonders of the world!! 3. Spend some leisure time in Mombasa 4. Camping in Naivasha 5. A night out at "the Carnivore" 6. eat Ugali, Chapati and NyamaChoma btw, try as much as possible to travel as a group. it makes things more enjoyable and lot cheaper. i definitely plan to make another trip to Kenya. While i was there i realised that there is so much to see and do. remember to carry your camera! Enjoy. I am a Kenyan, and if you wanna know about Kenya, read what Pete had said. Leave the other guy, who was complaining about the law, alone. Which country doesn't have laws? Maybe he was caught offside and he paid for it! Look for pictures about Kenya in the internet, and ask people who have been in Kenya. ASK ME. AM RIGHT HERE IN KENYA. I can give you my word that you will wish to extend your stay here.
