Traveling to Kenya soon...?

I am traveling to Kenya soon for just a week , I need to know :

- What are the places I must visit/ see
- What are the shoots "vaccine" that I have to ensure I take before I go
- Average food and accomodation price - is it true Kenya is more expensive than the UK??!
- Will there be any problems to me as I am a Muslim who is wearing Hijab "head scarf"

Kenya is quite expensive, especially when you pay your hotel bill, as well as give tips, which they expect every other step. The accomodation should be from USD150 - USD400 per night
There will be no problems for you, just be careful, and watch your back, make sure your money and passport is safe, AND make sure people know where you are.

-Ensure your health condition is in line with international travellers.
100 USD is enough for a Budget Hotel accomodation,Meals and some fun. Kenya being expensive than UK is a lie.
-Kenya has freedom of worship. Head scarf or no head scarf,Muslim or non muslim,you are most welcome to Kenya,a beautiful and peaceful country. Just maintain peace.

You probably require a tourist Visa - make sure. Modern Nairobi is still the safari capital of Africa, but the modern world has quickly caught up with the city. Nairobi has become one of Africa's largest, and most interesting cities. I doubt if Kenya is more expensive than the UK.

As for the hijab, I doubt if it would be a problem - Kenya has a very diverse society.

I see you have had good advice about places to see etc the vaccines you will need is definately 'yellow fever' it covers you for ten years,
you have to pay for this in UK dont know about any where else and you get a certificate that you must take with you and produce when you enter the country. They say it is recommended only but I have known of travellers that were refused entry unless they had it there on the spot, it was a klittle concerning as they could not be sure what they were being injected with.
Also need t be up to date with general vaccines, diptheria tetnus, hepatitis etc Also you will need to take malaria tablets before during and after travel.
I dont think any more expensive than uk depends what accomodation you are looking for....enjoy and good luck
