Travel Tips
I don't know about Pusan. I haven't lived there for 30 years, but Seoul (which is more expensive) can have quite high housing costs. I suspect you should plan on spending between 2,000,000 and 3,000,000 won per month for housing, food, transport, etc. Source(s): Currently ex-pat in China, but travel to Korea frequently (and have in-laws in Seoul who just moved into a new apartment).

depends...
It varies. Seoul is the highest whereas the middle part of the country is the lowest.
I am an American teaching English in Jeonju so I would know.
It is cheaper there than living in Japan. For a one bedroom, it could easily cost $400 or so for the cheapest. It depends on where you live and what you are looking for.
