Travel Info I think Korea is simmilar country with Japan . What do you think ? Travel Tips The similarities between Japan and Korea can be attributed to their past links with one another, and most importantly China. Many of the beliefs and values of the Japanese and Koreans are rooted in Confucian, Buddhist, and Taoist principles. Even back then, they were very different, but over time both Korea and Japan have changed and adapted many of their old traditions to suit their own cultures. Thus, many of their core values are the same, but the culture of each nation has become quite independent from the other, as well as China. Others They are only neighboring countries. The clothes, the language, the culture, the music, the food.... everything about the two countries is completely different. It's like saying Germany and France are the same. they are REALLY different!! Most koreans even have a hostile feeling toward japan becuz of the occupation They are similar- but not the same. There are a number of similar customs (taking off the shoes before entering a house, use of chopsticks) some similar food (both serve red beans and sweet rice for special holidays) and even similar languages. It's not as similar as, say, the US and Canada, but they are close. Well... i do think they are same but not at all. simmilar- School:uniform, education. Electronic, tv(show)etc.. Diff- culture, mind, act, language, foods etc.. things like that are simmilar and diff. but there is more diffence than simmilar. semi true If you only looked at the two counties, then the are very different. However, compare them to the rest of the world and they are actually closer than people might think. Not close like Canada/USA or Australia/New Zealand but pretty close. It is too obvious to state that they are totally different. You should put this into context. Culturally Japan is very unique. Korea less so, but still very different from US/China/Japan. However, both of them have a strong cultural influence on each other, much more than any other countries, with the exception of the United States |
