Pulled out which is the right thing, right ?? |
Travel Info I booked a ticket to Korea but then pulled out because I was afraid my son, who was planning to accompany me, would get shot over there by some university student killers !! Thank God, i thought of it !! I hope all you'll cancel ur trips to Korea too, or atleast dont take your children along !! Travel Tips OMG stop. it's so stupid. i really feel bad for the virginia tech victims but IT'S NOT THE KOREANS FAULT. i repeat: IT'S NOT THE KOREANS FAULT! why does this have anything to do with race? the guy moved to the U.S. at the age of five or something!!! if the killer wasn't a minority, none of you would make such a big deal about this. this is so ignorant of U.S. citizens! have we learned nothing? after the japanese bombed peral harbor we put thousands of ASIAN americans (not japanese, ASIAN) into retricted areas in Birtish Columbia and Texas (etc.)! just because ONE korean student shot 32 people doesn't mean every single korean citizen shoots 32 people!! if the killer was american, would it be fair for someone to say they didn't want to go to america because they didn't want to get shot? what about iraq? if these people's first impression of americans was some soldier utterly destroying their city, do you think they would have a good impression of us? YOU CAN'T JUDGE A WHOLE RACE FOR THE ACTIONS OF ONE PERSON. P.S. and don't tell me you are free to make your own choices so i should stop. by posting this qeustion you asked for my opinion and i gave it to you. if you already pulled out, why are you asking? Others pickles! Even organised crime there rarely has guns. Take your chill pill. don't come then, nobody's forcing you to....if I were you don't get off the plane, I'll be there waiting for you.....wahahahhaa you're a MORON! Pulled out which is the right thing, WRONG!! I've lived in Seoul for more than 12 years. It is a major city with a population of more than 14,000,000 people and I consider it to be the safest city in the safest country in the world. I can go anywhere at anytime day or night and I feel completely safe and I am safe. No one is going to pull a gun (illegal to own in Korea) and shoot me or mug me for my wallet. That is much more than I can say for American cities of any size. One person who left Korea at age eight and became a mass murderer at age 22 after living in America for 15 years does not define the Korean people, their culture or conditions in their country. We can only blame our own culture and conditions in America for what he did. The reaction here in Korea has been overwhelmingly one of shock and shame. Several Koreans have even apologized to me and expressed their sense of shame. Your comments and fears are totally irrational and baseless. yes that was the right thing! us koreans dont want u here so yes thats a very good thing...but you will be missing out on a lot b. itch! im sure of it if the killer was white no one would be making such a big deal about the race...so kiss my korean @ss Comments like these make me ashamed to be an American. I thought that most Americans could see beyond race and judge a person for themselves. Guess I was wrong. |
