What do apartments look like in daegue? south korea? |
Travel Info i want to know what the standard one room apartment looks like and if its true no showers? Travel Tips Depends. I just got back from Seoul, Korea a few days ago, and from what I saw it depends on where you are, and what kind of apartment you are looking for. Some apartments are more modern, such as the standard American toilet. However, I did notice that if there is a shower in the apartment, more than half did not have a shower curtain in it (some hotels are the same way). The drain is located on the floor, near the shower, and the floor is slightly canted towards the shower. It is kind of a pain, because everything in the bathroom tends to get wet when your showering. And don't even get me started on the "squat style toilets." Also, most apartments may still have the regular Korean style bed mats that are meant to be placed on the floor. Not much of a difference from the rock hard beds they have there anyways. I will say that the floors in the apartments are clean enough to eat off of though. |
