Can a professional accountant be a teacher in Korea?

Travel Info
Can someone with professional accounting qualification apply to be a an English teacher in Korea?

Travel Tips
If you have a four year degree, and if you are a navite born US citizen, UK citizen, Australian, or Canadian, you can get a job easily. If you don't have a degree, you won't get hired by a company, but you can try to be a personal tutor. And you also have to be a specific age as well. They are very picky about that.

The easiest way is to apply for English teaching schools. They are always hiring, but they are not as competitive as other areas. Actually, I have been researching this topic quite a bit, and I was planing on going to Japan, but now that I am learning Korean, I am interested in going to Korea because on average, they pay a lot more, however, that is only if you luck into a good job. Most English teaching schools don't offer a lot of money or benifits as those in Japan. However living in Korea, even in Seoul or Pusan, is pretty cheap in comparison.

I would suggest to do some general searches for English schools in Korea. Most of them will be in Seoul. I had three good websites a couple of days ago, but I can't find them, but you can try these sites. Source(s): A few websites on Teaching English in Korea
