Overstayed in Korea.? |
Travel Info I overstayed in Korea for awhile,i met my fiance there,he wants to file a fiancee visa,he is from the US,my question is.WILL the US embassy give me a hard time for this because i overstayed in Korea? Any answers will be much appreciated. Thanks Travel Tips cool do you like it there my husband is station there as well! he will be back in dec or jan. He is at camp casey. So i take it he is a solider well the best thing is probably go to jag office or miltary sos.com Others If you overstayed your Korean visa, you will have a problem with the KOREAN Department of Immigration, not the U.S. Embassy. The U.S. Embassy has nothing to say over your Korean visa status. I live in Korea, but it's really just common sense. Yea like the first guy said Korea will probably have the problem. You should probably try to solve the overstay issue before getting the fiancee visa because they could be evil and deny it (korea). It depends on how strict their laws are. In any case don't hide out that'll make it worse. |
