You need to be married and also need to be stabled with income. As a single woman, I don't think you can make it in Korea. I think it is possible even if you are from a different country...but I do believe that you need to be married and with enough money to provide for the child. But there are some countries that let single women adopt... Why do you want to adopt a Korean child? Korea is a prosperous country and can take care of their own children. If you want a child, adopt a child from your own country or a war torn country where the child is an orphan and has no parents or relatives. Korea has allowed single people to adopt but it is rare. We have adopted both of our children from Korea. I know that they do not allow non-married people to adopt internationally. However, Korea is trying to encourage domestic adoption there, and will begin allowing single Koreans living in Korea to adopt. |
