Who else likes 90's K-pop? |
Travel Info Does anyone else love old, 1990s K-pop music here? Even more than the newer stuff? Personally, I'm not that big a fan of the newer K-pop (Love Drunken Tiger, but they don't count here) Just that when you heard Seo Taiji rap in Korean for the first time, or heard Korean dance music with a techno or eurodance type sound a la r.ef it all sounded so cool and different back then, you know? I liked Seo Taiji, Deux (who really came up with a unique sound- sort of a mix of hip hop/rap and house music), r.ef, Roora, Turbo, DJ Doc, etc... So anyone else a big fan of old school K-pop? Travel Tips I do listen to some new k-pop but I do agree with you that old school k-pop is really good. I mean, 90s k-pop changed the history of music in korea! So of course, it's legendary... Seo Taiji is like, the king, and I really like Turbo.. great songs. DJ Doc is awesome as well. even stuff like H.O.T is better than what it is now.. I mean, seriously, what is with Dong Bang Shin Ki.. that is a sad excuse for music. What is more sad is that all the Korean middle and high schoolers are are obsessed with them.. but anyway, yes i do like old school k-pop too! Others hm im not sure of the ones u listed but i love krock like cherry filter and stuff |
