I have a US army bf and he wants me to visit him in korea where he was assigned............? |
Travel Info is it possible? can he get me a visitors visa? Travel Tips Because you are from a country in which alot of illlegal immigrants come to Korea, you have to obtain the visa from your local Korean Consulate in Manila. You cannot travel here on just a passport. There is nothing your Boyfriend can do because you are not married. However if you do get married in the future you will qualify for a SOFA visa for Korea. If you have no criminal record you should get the tourist visa easily. The length of time depends on what you plan to do. You will most likely be interviewed by a consulate general at the embassy. :) Source(s): been in Korea for 8 years Other Travel Tips Depends on where your from I guess. If your from the US just go there on a tourist visa. I'm going there next month for vacation. Hm...I could ask my ex-husband. When we were married he has his girlfriend from Texas visit him in Korea. So, it must be possible. Go get a passport and then ask them how to do the rest of it. Yes he can but you will need a valid passport. You should be able to get one yourself. Where he WAS assigned? Where is he assigned now? Either way if you go, get ready for a LONG plane ride. Stationed there myself. |
