Meds in Seoul....? |
Travel Info this may sound weird but where can i find Preperation H in Seoul? How do i say it in korean? Travel Tips Go to "any" drug store. I'm 100% sure every drug stores in Korea sell it. (I used it. ^^ and it is the most popular hemorrhoid treatment cream in Korea.) Just write on a paper "Preperation H" or say "pu-re-pur-rei-si-on H yon-go ju-se-yo" ( yon-go means ointment, ju-se-yo means give it to me) Every pharmacists (even Korean friends.) knows about Preperation H, if he/she can read your spelling.... or say Chi - jil - yon-go (means hemorrhoid ointment) ju-se-yo. Then, they would give you, "Preperation H" ^^ Take care and have a nice trip!! Others Try going to a pharmacy (yak-guk in Korean). A lot of the pharmacists speak or read English because the product names are often in English. If you write out the words on a piece of paper and hand it to them, they should be able to help you. Try this and if you strike out, go to another pharmacy and try again. Choosing one in an area with more foreigners (like Itaewon) will probably guarantee you get someone who can speak a little English. If that fails and they still haven't heard of it, go to one of the hopsitals and make an appointment with a doctor who speaks English--Yonsei's Severance clinic is specifically for foreigners, and I think Seoul Univ. has a similar one as well. Best of luck! 旃橃鞐瓣碃 欤检劯鞖?br /> Print this and show the pharmacist. Anyone can help you. |
