Im from singapore and i am going for a holiday in seoul this june.? |
Travel Info Is there any 1 day tour to mount sorak? If not, is it convenient for me to go there on my own? Travel Tips I live in Korea andI was in Singapore last October. It's a wonderful place. Thanks for wanting to visit Korea. I've visited and stayed at Mount Sorak many times. You will have a wonderful time visiting. I do not recommend you try it on your own. It is very difficult to get there and get around without a car. The best web site for information and Korean tours is: http://english.tour2korea.com/index.asp... And if you don't make it to Sorak Korea has many other beautiful sights worth seeing. Enjoy your visit! Source(s): Lived here 15 years and travel a lot both in and out of Korea. Other Travel Tips Just in case you don't see the answer on the other two questions... I have actually never been there but know a bit about it so I can offer you some suggestions... Well, it is located in the Taebaek Mountain range and is the 3rd highest in Korea I believe.. It is absolutely breathtaking. Mostly there's gonna be a lot of outdoorsy opportunities for you so I hope you are somewhat adventurous. It's very popular for hiking, camping, and climbing. Also, there is the Waterpia Hot Spring Resort that has an indoor and outdoor swimming pool and sauna. There are several popular traditional temples that I'm not too sure what they're called, but it seems to be a popular attraction. I don't know how familiar you are with Korea/Korean, but if you are new to it and don't really know the language, I suggest some kind of tour. If you are familiar with Korean and know how to get around, you should just go. You should probably make reservations though. |
