Any suggestions for a day trip to mount sorak to korea?

Travel Tips
I have actually never been there but know a bit about it so I can offer you some suggestions... Well, it is located in the Taebaek Mountain range and is the 3rd highest in Korea I believe.. It is absolutely breathtaking. Mostly there's gonna be a lot of outdoorsy opportunities for you so I hope you are somewhat adventurous. It's very popular for hiking, camping, and climbing. Also, there is the Waterpia Hot Spring Resort that has an indoor and outdoor swimming pool and sauna. There are several popular traditional temples that I'm not too sure what they're called, but it seems to be a popular attraction. I don't know how familiar you are with Korea/Korean, but if you are new to it and don't really know the language, I suggest some kind of tour. If you are familiar with Korean and know how to get around, you should just go. You should probably make reservations though.
There is a hot spring resort if you're into that sort of thing
