Travel Info When was Nike introduced to south Korea for resale? Travel Tips I am not sure what you mean by "resale", but Nike has been in Korea almost as long as Korea has been an open society. Nike started with shoes being made in Japan and shipped to the US for sale. (they were never American-made shoes) And that was the early 1960's. Nike has been in China since the early 80's.. So my guess is that they made it to Korea somewhere inbetween there. Others You mean retail, right? I guess in early 80's or late 70's. I remember some of my classmates became Nike fan in mid 80's. I saw a movie poor boy has a dream to have a Nike shoes and background was year 1982. Nike wasn't really introduce to korea until recently, before than everything was black market, and knock offs.
