To to avoid Jetlag from Korea to Los Angeles...? |
Travel Info Hey there, I am flying from Seoul Korea at 8pm local time on Tuesday, and I arrive in Los Angeles at 3pm local time on Tuesday. This is a 10 hour flight and apparently I gain a day. Does anyone have advice on when to sleep? The first part of the trip or the second. Also, any tips on avoiding jetlag? I already know to drink water and avoid alcohol. Anything else would be a life saver. Thank you sooooooooo much!!!! Travel Tips don't sleep in airplain, If it's daylight time when you arrive in Los Angeles, Don't sleep until sunset. try to sleep on time as you are in Korea. Others I would take a good book and drink plenty of water, also take two multivitamins wear sweat pants or comfy clothes and get one of those special pillows that you can bend. If you can afford it get that bose noise canceling headphones. Also look into bring trail mix for a snack and drink carbonated water instead of sugar filled sodas I was in the USAF and we Flew ALL over the World, these are the best tips from pilots and flight engineers.. I frequently go to the Philippines from the U.S. I have found that if I stay up when I arrive (always in the AM) and do not allow myself to sleep til night I do better. A nap before you leave, if you can. For the flight I would suggest you stay awake and go to bed when it is bed time in LA. Drink plenty of fluids, as you already said. Cheers. what i do is i that i usually sleep throughout the plane. and eat whatever is given to you. and when you get off the plane just try to fit in.
