Travel Info Is 5'7 considered tall for a Korean girl? Travel Tips no, i had a few korean girls in my high school were about 5'10/ 5'11. I also have some korean girls in my university and they are similar heights. So no i wouldnt consider that tall but more so average. Others no, my friends who are korian are pretty tall, i have a friend who is almost 6 feet! lol It's not short. I am 5'7 too and am German-American I thought 5'7 was tall for any Asian ethnicity. I mean that in the nicest, non-racist way possible. For real. No. Its just right. Yes; it is a little above the average height for a Korean female. The usual average is 5 foot, 3 to 4 inches. Koreans are typically taller than many other Asians. Also, younger people are taller than their parents in Korea (and China and Japan). For young people, 5'7" is a little taller than average, but not much. For the total female Korean population, the average is closer to 5'4". My Korean wife is 5'0", but says she is "the runt of the litter" - her sisters are all taller than she. |
