Who will replace Kim Jong Il when he dies??

Travel Info
There are reports now that his health is deteriorating because of heart disease and diabetes. If he were to die, who would replace him as leader of North Korea?

Travel Tips
Last week there was a newspaper article guessing about just this. KIM Jong Nam (his eldest legal son) is high on the list. But, there are other sons (legal and extra-marital) who might want the job, considering all the perks (movie actresses for sex, cigars, fine wine, adoration of the population, etc.). There is always the remote possibility that a military leader may feel that a family dynasty is not in accord with Communist concepts, and try a coup. Since his father lived into his 80s, I wouldn't take bets that Jong Il won't be around to threaten the world for a number of years yet.

WOULD YOU BELIEVE IT'S KING KONG ILL? NOOO, JUST JOKING. SERIOUSLY? I THINK IT'S HIS SON, ELDEST SURVIVING SON WHO'S PRESENTLY INTO PRIVATE ENTERPRISE MAKING THE FAMILY RICHER. I FORGOT THE NAME OF THE SON. I THINK THEIR SUCCESSION RULE IS LIKE DYNASTY HIERARCHICAL. FRANKLY, WHATEVER. AFTER NOKOR LAUNCHED AND TESTED THEIR MISSILES JUST ABOUT WIRTHOUT ADVANCE NOTICE TO US ASIAN NEIGHBORS, I LEARNED TO HATE THEIR SYSTEM. UNCARING AND CARELESS.
hopefully NO ONE!
This is a great question, and one that even the experts are having a hard time with. My money is still on Kim Jong Nam, his eldest son, but the truth is that probably Kim Jong Il himself doesn't even know.

Check out the link below for a good summary of the elder Kim's options.

Hope that helps!

I just hope that the next replacement is a better leader for North Korea, he will change the North Korean ways of thinking about bombing other countries, and finally reunite with South Korea.
