Has anyone seen "The Lucifer," starring Lee Ji Hoon? |
Travel Info Is it worth purchasing? I can only find one episode of it on dailymotion.com. If you've seen it, what did you think? Thanks! Travel Tips I just finished watching it last week, it's also under the title of "The Devil" or "The Devil King". I think it depends on what you are looking for in a Korean drama. It's much different from other cutesy love stories, melodramas, or tragic romances. The storyline is woven very tightly, and it's difficult if you miss watching an episode to figure out what's going on. There aren't that many characters, it's just a bit confusing trying to figure out who did what and why. Personally, I loved this drama. It was unique, unlike other dramas, and the acting was phenomenal from Joo Ji Hoon (not Lee Ji Hoon), Uhm Tae Woong, etc. Even though I normally wouldn't like endings like that, I thought the ending made sense with this type of drama. There were so many twists, it was like a murder mystery with a bit of fantasy. It's not really science fiction, really more like a mystery, and there was commentary about the human soul, good, and evil. What a great drama, I don't know if you'll like it, but I did. "Devil" is one of two best Korean drama I saw, 'Life Again" & "Devil" was written & directed by same team. It's really unique, was not really popular in Korea, but the actors and actresses are so great, I bet it's worth much more for your money. I strongly recommend to see "Life Again" as well. |
