Travel Info What happens during common Korean weddings? Travel Tips The one that I attended (in a small town called Jeongup-si?) was a mix of western and korean traditions... first there is the official marriage registry in front of family and friends... then a section follows where the wedding couple changes into the traditional and colourful Korean wedding gear and they would perform the tea ceremony with their parents (both sides). At the same, the guests would rush off to the wedding feast and have a lunch buffet style of banquet which latter concludes in 30 minutes or so....! A very funny experience for me!
