Does anyone know if I will be able to rent a surf board when I go to Busan, South Korea? |
Travel Info I do not want to take my board with me, and this is the only other thing I can think of. I really would like to surf while I am there. Travel Tips Gosh..I just typed a really long answer and it all deleted...>< Anyway, I thought that there were only "surfable" waves in Korea when its about to storm or during typhoon season? I may be wrong on this...(I've heard Jeju Island is the best for surfing..I know some people who went during the fall and the waves were pretty good...) I've heard there's a shop called "Surfer's Paradise" near Hyundae Beach in Busan. I don't know if this is rental or not but aren't most surf places near the beach rental? Others I am not an expert on surfing.. But are you coming to Busan for this purpose? and when are you coming? I can't imagine where you are going to do any serious surfing in Busan..? ( I assume since you own your own board, you are fairly serious about it) Can you take the ferry or hop a quick flight to Jeju Island? (very cheap and close to Busan) Once you get there, if it is summer seaosn, you need to have a cheap pension booked, or face steep prices in the tourist hotels.. so plan ahead.. |
