I need to know everything about Marks and Spencer (M&S) in South Korea? |
Travel Info Can anyone plese tell me anything and everything they know about Marks and Spencer (M&S) franchies in South Korea? Is it liked, who shops there, is it expensive, etc? Travel Tips M&S doesn't have franchises like you are thinking in South Korea. If you go to an upscale shopping center, like the Galleria in Apgujong, (south of the river), you will see a little area selling M&S labeled merchandise for a lot of money. The label, for those who have traveled to England from Kora, is known as a foreign or "designer" label, so people are willing to pay more for it. So, a little tin of M&S cookies at Christmastime was about $40USD. (when is was only $20 in SIngapore) I wouldn't say that most Koreans have heard of M&S. And if they have, they think of it more as a designer label than a store. Others I think they don't sell dog meat. If you buy a packet of hot dogs, read the label very carefully. |
