Has anyone travelled from Incheon to Seoul on a 24 hr stopover? |
Travel Info Stopping at Incheon late afternoon en route from Australia - London. Got until next day, so want to know if a visit to Seoul central is viable and if so, any recommended travel tips / restaurants, places to see in a few evening hours? Dont want to veg in an airport hotel if you know what I mean. Rich Travel Tips With all the US servicemen in Korea, you can get by with English in certain shopping areas pretty easily. It would be a shame to not see such a bustling city with so long a history when you have the chance. I've been there several times and find the people more trustworthy than many other big cities. Others I guess it is do-able. It takes about an hour and a half each way. Go to Hungdae or Itaewon for evening entertainment. Yes, that would be possible. Just a lot around 3 to 4 hours for travel time to and fro from Incheon to Seoul and Seoul to Incheon =) it'll be an adventure racing with time! You can check out seoul, but becareful of the travel time from airport to city center and back. The traffic in Seoul if terrible so take the train or bus. Inchon airport is cool cause you can rent a sleeping room there and the airport has a lot of shopping and wandering you can do there as well. |
