HELP! Pronunciation? |
Travel Info Going to go to Korea in a couple of month, and I am trying to figure out th best way to learn the language as well as getting a grasp of trying to speak it fluently. I can read and write, but how to pronunciate the words, hmmm any suggestions? Travel Tips Since you know the launguage and you wanna learn the verbal, do what they say in above but, watch for lingo. the best way is find some friend that are korean, and talk to them, or goto a Korean church near you. The more your surrounded by koreans its easier for you to learn, HIt me up. if you want some local korean churches depending on where you are. Later dude, and best of luck.. Others hi! i'm currently studying korean myself. here are some tips: 1, visit this website. http://korean.sogang.ac.kr/ this website has helped me a lot. you can also purchase the text book for this website when you arrive here. 2. find some korean videos in youtube. try to search for these: let's speak korean, let's learn korean 3. when you arrive here, try to listen and speak with koreans as much as you can. hope this helps! well do u understand korean well? the way i learned korean quickly was by watching korean variety shows, dramas, and listening to the music im korean so i always understood it but speaking was not my strong point and this is how i learned, plus its a lot more interesting than just learning through textbooks go to youtube and look up some stuff they have a lot my dads a korean professor First, I would recommend this site. http://www.zkorean.com/index.shtml... It is helpful for a lot of things but particularly for pronunciation, if you go under "Korean alphabet," and then under "Pronunciation," you can actually hear how it's said. I would explore the site further because it's very useful. Second, I would recommend Youtube as well. I know it doesn't seem like it would help that much, but hearing Korean is much more helpful than studying out of a book. It can be very helpful not only with speaking the language, but learning basic Korean culture. It is very apparent in Korean dramas the cultural differences in Koreans. Here are some that I recommend. Dramas: My Girl Dal Ja's Spring Full House What's Up Fox Goong Watch the sub version, otherwise it's absolutely useless for you to watch it! I have not tried to type in actual learning clips, but if you find some, I'm sure that will be of some use to you too. If you need more help, you can email me... Good luck! If you are serious about learning the language (speaking), you can try Rosettastone.com You can purchase the program and learn by word/photo interpretation and repeating lessons. www.rosettastone.com |
