Have anyone ever been to Seoul Incheon International Airport? |
Travel Info How was about that airport? Travel Tips I have been there many many times, and I find it to be very fast and efficient. One time I got to the airport 30minutes before my plane flew off, and I ran from one end of the airport to get my ticket, all the way to the other end to check in (it's pretty big) and still got through customs and onto the plane on time. Haven't bothered doing duty free shopping there, and I haven't dined there. If you are leaving Korea, there is a great Yahoo section with free internet access. Coming into Korea, it takes a VERY long time from the plane to customs, so be aware of how heavy your carry on luggage is. Immigration lines have the potential to be VERY VERY long, and there is no duty free shopping coming into Korea. It's modern, clean and fairly straight forward. The airport is quite a way from Seoul, so if you are here for a first time, I wouldn't exactly fork out the cash for a taxi. There are various styles of airport buses, that are both affordable and comfortable, and they go to nearly anywhere in Korea. Others I was there a little over four years ago - it was the coolest, most futuristic airport I've ever been in. Fancy bathrooms, decent food, okay for sleeping... I was impressed. Yes I've been there twice, it's not bad. You might want to bring some snack food though because I distinctly remember a very questionable Hamburger. :) It's fantastic!! It's cool. You will like there of course. I'm definitely sure that it's one of the cleanest airport in the world. It's very clean and nice. Believe me. It's clean and modern, but compared to the great airports of the world such as Hong Kong, it is pretty lame. There is not much there in terms of shopping, restaurants, or hanging out. Dining options are very very limited. There is basically just a Burger King and a couple of Korean and Chinese restaurants, and that's pretty much it. Just a lot of big empty sterile areas and halls. Pretty boring and depressing. i have but that was like 6-7 years ago. it's big and clean. i liked it. |
