Travel Info Is south korea beautiful? Travel Tips I recommend your that South Korea is a really awesome place to visit. It's quite different from cities but if you visit Seoul or Kungido, it is well-developed and there are a lot of places to go and enjoy. For example, you can visit to temples or parks. Everywhere!! If you want to know about Korean cultures or stuff like that, Kwongju is a proper place to go. There are many old buildings that are protected by Unesco. You can also go to parks ( it is really smaller than parks in US). Try to have a conversation in English. Koreans won't be perplexed. Korea is such a cool place! I hope I made a good answer for u. Others As any large area some is and some it not. The cities are very ugly. I personally find it to be an amazingly beautiful country. When I came here I was expecting it to be a very crowded country without alot of green spaces. But it is the opposite. yes, there is the crowding, but that is mainly in the larger areas, like Seoul. Although even though it is a little crowded, Pusan seems to have the feel of a small town even with the population that they have living there. South Korea is covered in rolling hills, forests, and beautiful scenery that often includes temples, and usually includes a grave or two. But even these add to the charm. If you go to a place like Cheju Do, it is very different from the rest of the country, being a volcanic island. It too is gorgeous. There are palm trees, and volcanic beaches, sand beaches and beautiful views if you get a little off the beaten path. There are waterfalls all over the place, not only on Cheju Do, but there are a few across the rest of the country. I have been living here for 2 years now and still find something amazing to see all the time. Not that beautiful, otherwise why would all the south koreans go to Thailand, to play golf and travel around? I think so - I am Korean, but I don't think it's more beutiful than China or Japan. We(Korean) lack some color in the streets, but it's still great! We have beutiful temples, traditional buildings, and hanbok. Korea has the BEST CLOTHINGS IN THE WHOLE WORLD!! yes it is . I heard these days that seoul got much better and cleaner and the buildings are much cooler. And country sides are good too. |
