How far away is gimhae from busan?

i am going to work in south korea and my friend is there she is in busan and i will be livingin gimhae hence the reason for my question

busan is a huge city. it's like saying you are in northern new jersey, how far is it to get to nyc? it's a big city w/ many different parts. it depends what part of busan she lives in. hopefully it's on the same side of busan as gimhae. it could be a few minute cab or bus ride or it could be almost an hour subway ride. sorry i couldn't be more helpful.

Also known as kimhae, it is about an hours drive away.
ok I made that commute probably a thousand times. Gimhae is the airport area right across the river from busan. from the center of town to the airport is about 40 minutes. However if your girl lives in haeundae or somewhere out there, its part of busan too, but a pain in the *** to get there, so it will take longer. You are looking at about a ten dollar cab ride maybe more if she lives further out.
