Travel Info How 2 say how r u in korean ?and some easy sentenses 2 asking ppl? Travel Tips You can't say "how are you" in Korean. I'm pretty sure you can't even say it in Japanese, and Chinese too. The phrase "how are you" is not what we use to greet people. As I have taught English to my friends and family back in Korea they always think the phrase "how are you" is such an oddity. It is used as a greeting by you Westerners (I know German and Spanish have their equivalents) , but literally, it means "how are you? Doing okay??". I have to explain that this is not used literally, but as a greeting, and the only reply you should really use is "fine. you?" Sorry :( But here's a list of basic words and phrases in Korean. 鞐勲 (om-ma) - mom 鞎勲範 (ah-ppa) - dad Nice to meet you - 氚橁皯鞀措媹雼? Ban-kap-seum-nee-da. I like Korea - 鞝?頃滉淡鞚?膦嬱晞鞖?
