Travel Tips Take the grains of rice and rince them, with the beans of your choice (ie: green beans, black beans). After that, add 1 1/2 cup of water for every cup of rice in a sauce pan. Boil the rice at a medium heat, uncovered. Cheack after about 20 minutes. If the water's all gone, it's done. If you have a rice cooker, fill the rice cooker's bowl with about 1/2 rice then add the water until it's 3/4 way up the bowl. Then set it to cook. When the cooker tells you it's done, it's ready. But I guess measuring rice and water all depends. Hope your rice turns out alright. I use a rice cooker... Others If you presoak the beans and use rice cooker, you have very good chance to success. Nakjisanjeok presented it very good, I'm impressed with her. Did you buy the package 5-8 different grains are mixed already? In that case it's okay to presoak all the grains together, I recommend more than 2 hours. You can soak it in the refrigerator overnight, too.
