Dongducheon, korea and yonsang, korea, distance? |
Travel Info i cannot seem to find yonsang, korea even on google earth. can you help me determine the distance between these two cities? Travel Tips The Yongsan(鞖╈偘) camp is one of the most well known U.S military camps, particularily because it in the right middle of Seoul. On the other hand, Dongducheon is way far in the North, and my road guide program says here that it's about 56km apart. That would usually take 1hour by car if there is no traffic jam, but Seoul's traffic is extremely unpredictable. No subway goes to Dongducheon. A rail line runs through Seoul and Dongducheon, though. I've been all over Korea, and remember some strange names, but I recognize most names of the citys with camps. Yongsang, is just on the outskirts of Seoul (which is humongus) and TDC, is about 2 hours drive north, maybe more. I was stationed at Camp Stanley, Uijongbu which was somewhere in between the two. 15 month tour in Korea It's about 35 miles. Takes 1 - 2 hours by car or bus. Yongsan is a large U.S. base in Seoul, on the north side of the Han River - between Namsan (South Mountain) and the river. The U.S. Army runs free buses (for persons with ID cards) between the two camps a few times a day. |
