Korean Historical Site questions? |
Travel Info I am a university student, and studying Korean relics right now, and was wondering, where can I find info on the repair and maintenance of the "Seokguram" in Gyung Ju, South Korea? I really need help for my assignment. I already checked wikipedia and it didn't mention much. PLEASE HELP! Travel Tips check www.daum.net or www.nate.com or www.msn.com Others honestly i don't know, but there are a lot of independent museums you can search for. search for korean museums. most big cities have them. i was in the military stationed in waegwan for 2 years which is not that far. there is national historical museums in taegu or daegu depending on how you search it. good luck The Seokguran, pictured on some Korean money, is basically a rock structure. There is very little maintenance, but some upkeep to keep the cement holding blocks together in good shape. While most people assume it was an astronomical observatory, there are a few scholars who aren't sure. all they have are plagiarized from china Try spelling it Kyung Ju or Kyungju. Also, try spelling "Seokguram" Sokguram or Sukguram. Type Seokguram into the search of this site: http://english.tour2korea.com/01tripplan... |
