People that immigrate to South Korea most often end-up with jobs rated 3-D, by Korean citizen standards. Dirty, Dangerous, Degrading These jobs are made available because no South Korean will "lower their standards" to accept these kinds of jobs. It is my understanding that the Republic of Korea does not a quota system for immigrants. I'm still trying to find the numbers, but I suspect they are fairly low. I'm assuming that North Koreans who make it to South Korea have no limit (and possibly there are no publicly-released figures due to political sensitivity). |
