Jeju Free & Easy?

is it possible to do jeju free & easy? i dun speak a word of korean, but would love to stay there longer than just the usual 2 days travel package offers... pls advise. thanks :)

Of course you can. Book a flight and then get on the Internet, go to asiarooms.com or a similar website and book a room for as long as you like in Jeju. Or if you are more adventurous book your flight, rent a car at the airport (AVIS)and travel around the island staying in little private hotels (I think they are called minbak's). The best part of the island in my opinion is Jungmoon (on the south side) its usually 2c - 5c warmer than the north side -lots of very pricey hotels there but it is possible to find a minbak there too. Best beach is Jungmoon beach - just go to the Hyatt and then down the stairs behind the hotel to the beach below.

free? no way! not in jeju which is catered so much to tourism. the motels have become really cheap tho.
