Why do Koreans have a hard time thinking in a calm fashion?

The book says:

I have found that Koreans, in general, are more passionate, or least more open about their feelings, than other peoples in Asia. I lived in Korea for years, have been married to a Korean for 35 years, am now living in China as an ex-pat, and travel all around Asia. There is less reserve shown by most Koreans. By the way, this isn't recent: an early book about Korea from the 1700s mentioned they liked to sing loudly, dance, and get into fights. Koreans have even been called "the Irish of Asia". When a Korean is angry, there is no missing it; when a Japanese is angry, you may or may not know. This is, of course, talking in generalities, since individuals are different. By the way, "prejudice" means pre-judging an individual based upon characteristics of the majority of the people of that culture/religion/race, etc. It can be either positive or negative (although, today, only the negative side is considered). Koreans are emotional people.

Wow. Can you generalize and offend a nation of people anymore? It is ignorant thought like this that creates misunderstandings between people.

Do you really think that all Koreans have a hard time thinking in a calm fashion? I suggest you put down your book and try to use your brain along with a healthy doseage of common sense.
well, the book is only expressing this one person's opinion. you can't generalize an entire ethnicity because you read someone's opinion or you know one or two people that are that way. you're being rather disrespectful to Koreans with your question, if someone asked the same thing about your ethnicity how would you answer? you can't make such stereotypes...
