Whats is the difference between these verb endings in Korean? |
They all express desire, but what is the difference, and which situations would you use which? My korean is terrible, but maybe one day I'll be fluent. I want to... I will (and want to)... or, I will... (Used for something you'd want to do, and will possibly do. Example, "I want to wipe the tables now", and you go and do it.) Will I want to...? Will you...? Will I...? (It's a question statement, ex. "Will you (want to) do this?", and the second person chooses what they would want to do......) I wish to.... (More desireable, sometimes used for impossible situations ex. "I wish to fly like superman", or just used for speaking one's mind like, "I want to eat icecream right now...") I hope that wasn't confusing.......... Others All of them are completely different. The first one is used a lot. It says "Would you like to?" but has more of a suggestive manner like telling someone you want to and asking if they want to too. The second one is "I will ____." Third one is actually wrong and it should be 瓿? It means I want to. Hope that helps =) 鞚勲灅鞖? - i'll do it. -do i '' it? 鞁鹅柎頃挫殧 - same iam s.korean 鞚勲灅鞖?I'll do it. (not as a promise, but more as in 'I want to/intend to' or 'I'll have a go at ...' Koreans say it a lot when they see something they'd like to try). Shall I do it? (or, Shall we do it? as in, Do you want to see a movie with me? along those lines) 甑? 鞁鹅柎頃挫殧=I want to do it. (The 'gu' at the beginning instead of the 'go' makes it cute-sounding. Girls say it a lot.) 鞁鹅柎鞖?is usually 1st person and 鞁鹅柎頃挫殧 is usually 3rd. Good question! Have studied Korean for a loooong time. At least in comparison to my ability! ^ ^ |
