How do I adress a letter to Korea? |
Travel Info I want to write a letter to friend in Korea but i don't know what language I should put the adress in Is there a different kind of stamp that i have to use and where can i get one Travel Tips All international mail goes to Seoul, Korea, so make sure you write that in English. After that, you caneither use English or Korean. If you write it in Korea, has better chance to be correctly delivered. If you want to know how to write it, I'll write it for you so you can print. (Email me) Stamp cost more than US mail - (used to be 50 cents, but not sure how much it increased) so better mail it out at the post office. Others O H L L E F You can write it in English...and a US stamp if you're mailing it in the US. THE post office could help you with that and the stamps. You use a standard air mail stamp from the U.S. post office (assuming that's where you're mailing it from). As to whether you should write in English or Hangul, I wrote a thank you note to a Korean friend's parents, and my friend addressed it in English. I queried her about it, and she said it would arrive without a problem. Unfortunately, it arrived weeks late. You should probably address it in both English and Hangul, just to be on the safe side. just write it in english and go to the post office they will handle the stamps you handle the money for the stamps. me |
