Will the korean be friendly with us when we r studying in korea university? |
Travel Info im a malaysian. Travel Tips Koreans are some of the most friendly and polite people I've ever met. As long as you are mindful of the fact that this is not your country and behave accordingly everyone will be very sweet to you. Also, read up on Korean culture before coming, it's very helpful and will lessen "culture shock". Two big things to remember are that this is a male-dominated society and that elderly people must be treated with great respect. And also study drinking etiquette... it's more important than you'd think. Just like any country/culture there are really nice people and a few jerks... But honestly, the biggest thing is reading about the culture. If you know the polite customs it will open doors for you and help you form wonderful friendships. Everyone likes to feel that their culture and their home is appreciated. Others Ya they should. However they will some ppl who think themselves to be bigshots we be friendly The Korean people are normally very friendly and polite to visitors to their country. However, it's up to you too. If you're nice and observant of their customs and culture, you'll make may friends there. If you insist on behaving like you're special or if you disregard their customs and traditions, they will not like you and understandably so. Oh yes! Being a universty students as foreigner will be great time for you to make many friends. Students are open for new ppl or new things. you know? And especially Korean students will try to make friends with you. And your country is so famous as a wonderful place with great nature! I wish I can visit Malaysia someday. And Malaysia's air line is great! And flight attendent's uniform is soooooo beau~tiful! ;) If you want to study in Korea. Why not? There are many foreigne students in Yun-Se universty in Seoul. I think so. They don't have a reason not to be. Korean university students respect foreign students. They are very interested in making friends with different culture. Don't worry about a thing, and enjoy your stay there. |
