Waht i should do in korea? |
Travel Info My best friend, her sister, and i are going to korea during summer vacation. This is our first time going. [ well we have been their but when we were younger] we are going to hopefully meet & see korean singers. esp. DBSK<3 any advice on waht we should do. nice hotels we can stay at? [but affordable] amusement parks? malls? food? and stuff like that. THANK YOU :] Travel Tips I can tell you one place you SHOULDN'T go: Daejon City. Not only is it boring beyond belief, but also everyone drives like 3 miles an hour. Others pick a hotel that looks nice food that looks yummy make fun of locals(dont get caught)(yes im only kiddin) try an online hotel site they should have them for korea to im sure there's going to be plenty of things you'll decided to do that you'll see there There is tons of things to do in Korea. It will be hot so if you don't like humidity then find things to do indoors. Also, remember that the monsoons start in July. You should go to Coex mall it is on subway line number 2 and also on the same subway line is Lotte world. In the downtown area also on line 2 there is city hall and there are lots of Korean palaces around there. You might like Myeong-dong for shopping. Here is a address and phone number of a bed and breakfast my mother and I stayed at. The house is beautiful it is in one of the richest area's of Seoul. Near City hall. It is beautiful in that area. There are lots of great restaurants around there and also the owners of the house are good at telling you fun places to visit. Tel: (02)-379-1337(In Korea), IDD+82-2-379-1337(Out of Korea) Cel. phn.: 010-9963-1337(In Korea), IDD+82-10-9963-1337(Out of Korea) e-mail:staykr@hanmail.net e-mail:homestayhan@yahoo.co.kr Home Address: #345-89, Pyeong-chang-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, Korea http://staykorea.net I hope that helps a little. I think most of the love motel makes a great accomodation place...dun mind the name but it is true.. some love motel in Seoul looks so much better than hotel! and so much cheaper also!!! Try to have the meals along the road side.. Those are really good...Stay away with Kalbi as beef is really expensive there.. do try drinking their soju, bekseju or osipsoju...Those are good guy... Have em with some small dishes and kimchi stuff.. Will remember em for life... Cheers! Best to go by tours and extend during yr last leg. In this way, u r making full use of yr money's worth. Go the local travel agency n u will get to visit some of the worthwhile spot most tours do not include in their iternary. If u hv time, visit the remote area and feel the atmosphere n rub shoulders with the locals! Happy touring How about one fantastic reason? I strongly recommend the take the DMZ tour. This is an escorted tour to the Demilitarized Zone, that separates North from South Korea. You will come face to face with North Koreans, who are trained from birth to hate you, and will kill you without hesitation if told to do so. You will get goosebumps numerous times while there. I have taken this tour previously; it's spooky !! But, it's very informative. If you're lucky on the day you go, you might be able to stand on the North Korean side (inside) of the building which held the Armistice talks. You will constantly have North Korean Guards stare at you with hatred in their eyes. If the opportunity presents itself, definitely purchase for yourself one of the DMZ Barbwire Plaques. These were issued on the 50th Anniversary of the beginning of the Korean War. Be sure you get one with a serial number!! I believe they will become extremely valuable once North Korea implodes upon itself. dbsk?? *excited* i've visited korea last year and it was really terrible looked like i've visited wrong place i haven't met tvxq no shopping, do nothing.. so i really wanna go to korea once again XDD i'm sorry i can't help you but i'm very intersted with your tvxq thingie *LOL* hope you'll meet them >.< |
