Question about "My Love Patzzi" ending?

Did the characters of Kim Rae Won and Jang Na Ra end up dating while SJ was away for a year? The ending was kind of vague about that. When she met him by the fountain, she told him he'd "never make her heart skip a beat" or something like that.

I'm still learning about K-dramas, so is there something I missed? At the end it sounds like their competition for her will go on, but that doesn't make it seem like she dated Kim Rae Won's character for a year -- otherwise she'd just stick with him.

Thoughts?

The two were supposedly dating but were more like super best friends :)

It was obvious the two liked each other. And SJ and Kim Rae Won's character were not fighting each other for Jang Na Ra's character. They were just playing around.

The ending was cute, what with the two of them going, "Oh, why bother with her?" Lol.

It's about a guy whose girlfriend died and then he meets another girl who looks exactly like her, who ends up being his ex-girlfriends sister], My Girl [so cute and romantic!], Snow Flower (Snowflake) [so sad and seems different than the other stories I've seen. WONDERFUL!], Love Story in Harvard (another Kim Rae Won drama) [sad, conflicted, cute, etc...]
