What's the latest fashion and music trends in korea? |
Travel Info and what do teenagers there like to do durinf their free time? Travel Tips Fashion? The women don't know how to match colors or patterns (a black and white hounds tooth check jacket with a black and white polka dot skirt, navy tights, and brown pumps, I kid you not), long layered shirt with these weird knit dress jumper things. Heels. Lots of heels. The men are all over the place, ranging from training suits to a sort of clean rock star look to a more professional look. The teenagers have no free time because they're always in school and then hogwons to prepare for their college entrance exams. If they DO happen to have free time, it seems to be spent text messaging, playing games at PC bangs, or eating junk food (choco pies). Other Travel Tips As far as music goes, it's very "pop"- the biggest names right now are the singers Boa and "Bi" ("Rain"). There's also a big R&B/Hip-hop influence these days with groups like Epik High and 1TYM (Though really the best right now is Drunken Tiger). Free time? What little free time they have seems to be spend on their "minihompies" on Cyworld or online gaming. Korea's probably the online gaming capitol of the world. Friends and family in Korea |
