Places to Eat and visit in Vegas.?

I am going to be flying to Las Vegas for 3 days and I was wanting to know where some good cheap places to eat are and some fun things to do while I am there. Any suggestions?

downtown fremont experience has cheap drinks/eats, lots of souveniers & often free entertainment... you could go see the neon graveyard... I heard the Liberace museum is fascinating... the water shows & TI's outdoor show are free, & of course the casinos themselves are great to admire & enjoy... go up the eiffel tower & the sky needle... ride the roller coaster at NY NY... visit the zoo...

these are just some things to supplement the big stuff on the strip of course... lasvegas.com is great for trip planning...

If you like Cuban food, there is a great place midway towards downtown called Versalles.
to me Vegas is all about buffet's! you get more for you money and if you are like me, then all that food will definitely help soak up all the alcohol you've consumed. depending on where you are staying, most hotels/casinos have pretty decent buffets. have fun, hope this helps!

Ellis Island behind Ballys is very cheap and has good food. They also have their own microbrew beer and it is excellent. Don't waste your time gambling there.
there are lots of places to eat in Vegas, when youre there , you have to go try the buffets, I think Paris is the best and reasonable price, go visit Trip Advisor.com and they will have info on cheap eats, also try Vegas.com
