Weddings in las vegas? |
Travel Info hi everyone me and my partner are thinking of getting hitched in las vegas next years has anyone one got any tips on traveling to las vegas or getting married there?? any advice appreciated Thanks Travel Tips Vegas can be an extremely cheap trip or an extremely expensive trip - it all depends on where you plan to stay and where you plan to dine. Two very nice hotels are The Mirage and Treasure Island. They're on a very nice end of the strip, near the Wynn, Venetian, and The Bellagio. Generally speaking, with flights and either of those hotels, either one of those might cost a total of $1,000 to $1,500 total for 4 nights. Treasure Island has a very nice wedding chappel. See the following link for information on weddings at Treasure Island. http://treasureisland.com/pages/amenitie... As far as what to do, I would highly suggest seeing at least two shows while you're there. There are so many great shows, from comedy, to magic, to theatre. If you enjoy theatre, check out the Phantom at the Venetian - very impressive. Cirque du Soleil Mystere at Treasure Island is also a great show (acrobatics and such). Mystere has been in Vegas for 10+ years and it's one of the more affordable shows around. Best wishes, and have fun! Others Go in the winter, it isn't so hot! go to webcamplazza .com (I think ) and pick up the site for weddings and you can watch actual weddings taking place. in las vegas chapels.or try earthcam.com you may have to forward slash weddings. I got married at the Venetian Hotel and it was absolutely Georgeous!! When I was in the planning stages, the best information I got was from the individual hotels, wedding planning is all they do so they know the in's and out's. I talked to people at Treasure Island, Bellagio, Paris, and of course the venetian, and all the people were great with letting us know how things were done. Best of luck, you'll have a BLAST I got married in Las Vegas in Feb Depend what kind of wedding you want. I got married at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Vegas last year and it was fab. Travel Agent arranged it all with all of our requests, was hassle free and great and not expensive. We stayed at the Bellagio for a couple of nights over our wedding to treat ourselves then went to a cheaper hotel, the Luxor, but all the hotels are great to be truthful. You have to arrange your marriage liscence when you are there which is easy, we chose to get it out of the way as soon as we got there which was just as well as it is very busy, stood in a que for over an hour. They have gondola rides on the canal in the Venitian Hotel which was quite romantic as you get sung to, so much to do in Vegas and so many different kinds of weddings do loads of research first. All the hotels have wedding packages. One tip though, if you change hotels when you are there ask for an upgrade and explain you just got married, we got upgraded from a standard room to a suite. Great. Also alot of the Wedding chapels have Web Cam so your friends or family that are at home can watch it live on the net. Well have fun I am sure you will. Check out www.vivalasegas.com website. They have lots of options. |
