Travel Info I'm going to Vegas 6/20-6/25 are there any must see shows & will I be able to find low cost events, too? Travel Tips last time we went we saw Legends In Concert at the Imperial Palace it is very good, if you go to the imperial palace go through the front door and you can usually get free tickets to see the Antique Auto Collection. i would recommend any hotel/Casino you go to find the service/ guest relations desk and ask about their fun book/ coupon books and you will find lots of goodies, like in some you may find 2for 1 coupons, free drinks/buffet, free cash to play on their machines Etc. also don't forget about Freemont street as well as the Strip, dont be afraid to go off strip as well, Just because a hotel/Casino is not on the Strip doesn't necessarily mean it is not just as good, and remember lots of people live in Vegas,Don't be afraid to ask a local about cheap fun stuff to do and see. another thing don't waste money on cabs, whenever possible take one of the many free shuttles, Trams, and Slide Walks..Sometimes it takes a little longer, sometimes not either way you will see a lot more than if you drive or take taxis, and you can drink without having to worry about driving or parking Source(s): Me. Ex-Local Las Vegan Other Travel Tips Mystere is a MUST SEE SHOW Last time i went I saw the Blue Man Group. It was one of the best I have seen Go to the Egg and I to see "Marriage Can Be Murder". That was the funnest show I ever seen! I'll be there the same week! If you want to see a Cirque show, check out O at Bellagio. It's an awesome show, especially if you haven't been to one before. I suggest catching one of the Cirque Du Soleil shows. There are a couple to choose from. I always find their shows to be absolutely fasanating. For some cheaper events, the fountains at the Bellagio is wonderful, and I found the indoor shopping area at the Aladdin to be wonderful. I know it has know changed to Planet Hollywood, so I don't know if it is the same any longer. If you have kids, it is well worth going to Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay. Heck, even if you don't have kids, I think it is a fun attraction. When I was there it was about $15 per person. My daughter had a blast being able to acutally pet a shark and a sting ray. I found Circus Circus to be rather run down and not really much fun. |
