Travel Info i've been here for a year, im looking for things a local would do, anything, from bowling, movies, which bars, clubs, any outdoor stuff, anything and everything, i also just turned 21 this yr. but it doesnt necessarily have to deal wit drinking. Really do not know what you are doing but this is the most exciting place in the world and it has a sense of community Others Man!!! Las vegas is the best place on earth. I just got married ther last year. there are so many things to do there but you will need a lot of time to even enjoy half of it. first of all you should go and see all the hotels. they are all atractions in themselves. and they are free just to walk around and enjoy them also there are many free shows like the pirate fight at one of the hotels there. it is also cool to see the fountains at the balagio., the gandolas in the venitian. it is all a wonderful place. you will never get tired of it and you will never see it all. Well I just came back from Vegas a couple of weeks ago and the place is simply awesome. I would suggest you to check out the deals on southwest airlines on every Wednesday mid night. They have great deals coming out at that time. You can do your booking for flights, tickets, cars and shows at their website. Bellagio is good. Check out the fountain outside the hotel which is simply fantastic. Its casino has a great ambience, really world class. Try to avoid weekend as the prices will be about 2.5 to 3 times more expensive then weekdays. You can also go on a tour to Grand Canyon on Day 2. It is about 4 hrs drive from Vegas and along the way you can visit Hoover Dam. Outlet shopping is also avaliable at Vegas, which is about 10 minutes drive from the main strip. Once you have seen the hotels, you have seen them. Locals, go to movies, and work it is getting so very expensive here. If you are just turning 21 you would probably like the dance clubs they are suppose to be the best in the world. Check out LasVegas.com for local suggestions. Go visite all the hotels and then go to a concert or some kind of show Go see Phantom of the Opera or Blue Man Group at the Venetian hotel. Tickets start from $75. They are wonderful!!! Have fun~ |
