Was there ever an orphanage in the eastern side of vegas that got burnt down ?

i have never heard of an orphanage in las vegas! they would be foster care in private homes although there are some "group homes" for troubled placement youth. Ive been in vegas since the 60s and nevewr heard of anything like this burning.

Orphanages have been replaced in Nevada years ago. They found out along with the rest of the nation it is cheaper to do the foster parent thing.
Are you thinking of the childrens home near Red Rock Canyon . There was a bad fire at the park and it burned to the doors of the home but did not destroy it. As I recall it was a place for sick children
