What are the best places to stay in Vegas (on a mild budget)?

Travel Info
I'm in my mid 20's and am looking for a tight pool scene and ladies in my age bracket (unlike Caesar's with the droopy cougars from wall to wall). But dont want to spend a fortune on the room either... Suggestions?

Travel Tips
What about off the strip at the Golden Nugget? They just re-did their pool and it has a slide that goes thru a shark tank!

Have fun!

Terribles? (It's cheap, but not that terrible! Heh.) Nice pool, lots of us 20-30-somethings, casino, drinks, several buffets and restaurants, and a short cab ride to the strip, or the Stratosphere, or that big overhang where the open air entertainment is. (I can never remember the name of that street.)

You don't have to be on the strip to have a total blast.
hey man im 23...id split a place with you. im looking for those hot ladies too. that be cheap and we can have more to driink!! haha
Treasure Island! Im staying there June 28-July 1st (3 nights) and I'm paying $150/night after taxes (for 4 people). Thats a bargain compared to all other hotels on the strip, especially considered the TI is newly renovated and flowing with young ladies.

And their pool is hottttt. Check it out: http://www.baumholderreunion.com/images/...

They've also got some pretty hot clubs and bars, as well as some good restaurants.

Enjoy Vegas buddy!
You may want to try the Golden Nugget. It was recently renovated and they dumped many millions into the pool area. I know they have good mid week rates, but they are not on The Strip. As far as the strip for a mid-20s, I would say that you should consider Mandalay Bay or MGM. Should have some nice ladies at those pools. The wife and I will be staying at the revamped Planet Hollywood in a couple weeks, so I can give you better info on that later. Also off the strip is The Palms which is owned by the Maloof brother's if I'm not mistaken. From what I understand that is the top spot to be if you are a mid-20s single. Pool scene is probably unbelievable there. I also believe that The Palms is where "The Real World: Las Vegas" was shot if you need a reference......
the stratosphere has nice and clean rooms starting at $45 a night. i would recommend to anyone. plus, ride the coaster! there were young chicks taking their shirts off at the bar downstairs.
Circus Circus is a good place to stay. Not too expensive, and the rooms are decent (besides, its Vegas, how much time are ya gonna spend in a hotel room, lol).
