Travel Info I've heard of Power Pass, but does anyone know of any other place to get discounted tickets to do stuff in vegas? Travel Tips Tix2Nite is a good place to get 1/2 price tickets for great shows like Mama Mia and Blue Man Group - but you have to get them early, cause the good ones sell out early in the day. They only sell the tickets for that night (sometimes the next night) but no further in advance. Otherwise you can always go to the pool and relax or if you want to spend a little money get some kind of treatment in the spa of the casino you're staying at. Good luck, and have fun. Others Just don't head to the Casino when you feel bored. I'm heading there myself in the first week of August and I got half priced tickets for Mama Mia on Expedia.com. They don't offer a LOT but they do offer some. Other than that, you can find some great deals on food and drink, such as $1.50 hot dogs (HUGE dogs) and cheap drinks everywhere. The best bet is not to eat in the casinos because they like to suck your money in any way they can! Eat at Denny's or chain places if you have a car; if you don't then share a meal with someone and things work out cheap. My husband and I go and we only spend about $50 - $90 per day on food for two of us. Also, you can go to the various roller coasters; the Grand Canyon; Hoover Dam; Oatman, AZ is a really cool ghost town and if you are up for it, there is also Rachel, NV - home of the Little Ali en (Little Alien) and Utah is beautiful as well.
